Biography
April serves as Firm Manager and continues her role as senior Paralegal to our real estate, corporate and civil litigation team, under the direct supervision of Attorney Jason Machnik. Her work involves developing and implementing firm processes and procedures, supervision of support staff, case management, interacting with court clerks and judicial aides, and providing knowledgeable support to Herbert Machnik clients. Her contribution is vital to the team and enables our attorneys to focus their attention on important client deadlines, both in and out of the courtroom. April holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science-Paralegal (ABA-Approved Program) from Davenport University and has continuing education credits in civil litigation, probate and estate litigation and risk management. In her years of experience in the field, she has served as a paralegal on a number of cases in which her responsibilities included managing the transfer of assets for high-net-worth clients, drafting complex trust documents, case research and organization, drafting documents, discovery review, and trial preparation. April’s daily dedication to delivering the highest quality service and care to Herbert Machnik clients makes her an integral part of the Herbert Machnik team.
